Bowl For Kids' Sake 2018 Norman

About This Campaign

Bowl for Kids' Sake is a fun and easy way for you and your company, friends, and family to support the life-changing work of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma. Join thousands of participants across the state in raising funds to help us achieve our mission of providing children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.  Bowl for Kids' Sake is about having fun and helping kids continue on a positive path. Your support makes it possible for us to provide more resources in our community and more mentors to the children of Cleveland County.

There are many ways to support Bowl for Kids' Sake 2018 -
Individuals may form a team of five or six  friends, family members, or co-workers. Each team is asked to raise $625 through individual fundraising - team members ask for support from their personal networks - or by hosting a fundraising activity - casual day at work, car wash, chili cook-off, etc. Teams select the bowling party they would like to attend where they will celebrate their fundraising success. Bowling parties include 1.5 hours of bowling + shoe rental, free pizza and soft drinks, prize giveaways, and a Big Brothers Big Sisters t-shirt (for participants who raise at least $125)
2018 Bowling Party locations & dates are:
HeyDay Bowling Parties -  March 8 @ 4:30 & April 20 @ 4:30  (participants must be at least 21 to attend HeyDay parties)
Sooner Bowling Center Parties - March 9 @4:15, & April 7 @ 12:00 or 2:00

Companies may choose to form multiple teams who complete against each other for fundraising and hi-score prizes. While some companies encourage participants to raise money individually or through workplace activities, others utilize this as a great team building activity and pay for employees to participate. Either way, they are demonstrating their commitment to our community's most vulnerable citizens! Some companies choose to host bowling themed events at their worksite - allowing all employees to participate in the fun. We would love to help you plan your individualized event!

Campaign to Support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma, Inc.

For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
